The 7th period Foods Class made pancakes from scratch yesterday. They were not all perfect... but many lessons were learned!

In music, the 7th graders have been working on a collaborative art/music/writing project. They studied the song "Vincent" by Don McLean. They learned that it is written about Vincent van Gogh. Mrs. Reiter showed them a video of the song set to slides of van Goghs artwork. After watching several times, they each had to write a three paragraph reflection about the song and Van Gogh's artwork. Today, some of the students volunteered to read their reflections out loud.

The awards from last years Lady Buffs Track team just keep coming. Way to get it done in the classroom ladies!!

Great job by the EC Band at the State Fair Parade today!! 🦬🦬

Mrs. Ehresman’s 5th graders participated in an inside-outside circle today. This strategy allows students to efficiently listen and share information with classmates. Great job, Buffaloes!

Due to forecasted high heat index readings from the heat and humidity we are going to move football practice on Monday-Wednesday to a 6 PM start time. Cross Country is going to modify workouts to shade today, and as needed this week per heat readings. They are planning go at the normal time all week. Thanks for understanding as we make these decisions to protect our athletes as much as possible. GO BUFFS!!
