Agriscience Team Placed 7th Overall and Qualified for State FFA - Team members were Jacob Fouts, Kendal Cavenee, Teagan McDaniel, Kassidy Kenning, Nora Brodine, and Jesse Buck
Agronomy Team Placed 4th Overall and Qualified for State FFA! - Team members were Chelsea Kottich Ava Brodine, Kyler Pickel and Brody Meier
Natural Resources Placed 1st Overall and Qualified for State FFA! - Team members were Brenna Fouts, Natalie Evans, Maranda Bowker, Devin Anderson, Kole Steiner and Brody Schopke
Farm and Agriculture Business Management Placed 2nd Overall and Qualified for State FFA! Team members were Ava Hellregiel Jacob Fouts Alex Meier Payton Johnson Taylor Robinson Aspen Tool and Brody Shopke
Meat Evaluation Placed 9th Overall - Team members were Kendal Cavenee Ava Hellregiel Alex Meier and Aspen Tool
Agricultural Mechanics 17th Overall - Team members were Cody Runge, Brecken Shubert, and Madox Miller

In reading this morning, Mrs. Schopke's class is continuing their studies about space! Today, they read a chapter, then worked with a partner to answer a variety questions, using text evidence!
FKC Conference Champs for the 3rd year in a row. I could not be more proud of these kids for stepping up and trying new events to make this happen. Districts, here we come!
The kindergarten class is learning about the quarter note and eighth note pair in music with Mrs. Reiter. Today they played rhythm sticks for and READ simple rhythms! This is a very important musical milestone for them.

Celebrate Dr. Seuss week next week by dressing up each day! The elementary will play a classroom BINGO each day and we will celebrate "Read Across America" on Thursday, February 29th by combining the K - 12 to read together!

Halftime at Shelton and the Mustangs lead the Buffs 25-24.
The Buffs trail the Mustangs 15-13 after one quarter at Shelton.

The Entrepreneur class baked cookies today! This week's flavors are Chocolate Chip and Carnival (M & M). They will be selling tomorrow (Wednesday) to the elementary in the afternoon. Cookies may be purchased after school as well.

Congratulations to Braelynn for her 3rd place finish at state this past Saturday for the Elks Free Throw Contest. She tied for 2nd and lost by 2 shots in her shoot off. We are so proud of you. Way to represent Elm Creek.
The EC Cheer team competed at Nebraska State Cheer.They were awarded Cheer Team Academic Excellence award for their 3.5GPA.🌟They competed in Game Day and Traditional placing 7th and 10th. We are so proud of the spirit and leadership they give for our school!💙🦬💛Go Big Blue!
